We were asked to tender for the new Brentford Community stadium against 3 other competitors. Part of our tender submission was to find a better alternative to one of the already proposed products to show our approach and methodology we take in finding the right products for our clients. We were successful and started working with the project team immediately. Time scales where very tight as we wanted to try and get orders placed before the new year price increases, This meant very strict management of the project ensuring everything was completed as per our programme. Through our negotiations we managed to get the club far higher spec products than initially proposed and we got them additional savings of over 100k on their initial budget. The only major snag on the project was the Covid 19 interruption to the build which meant we had to postpone deliveries for just over 2 months. Again we negotiated with the manufacturers and where able to do this with little or no fuss and no additional storage costs.
