Richard Martin commented:
"All the judges on the panel were blown away by the quality of the proposals put forward by these exciting young designers. To separate out a winner was a really tough decision. In the end we chose the design that we could most envisage in today's commercial furniture market. Adam Watts' "Perch" caught the judges eyes immediately for its clean design and functional use."
Adam Watts' gymnastics-inspired 'Perch' work bench stood out from the rest in the judges' minds.
He continued:
"Collaborate are delighted to support young design talent in the furniture world. If we can help bridge the gap between education and employment by offering students the chance to showcase their work on a large platform such as Clerkenwell Design Week then we are delighted to be able to do that."
